K Sambandham - Synopsis
| The Hero of the Film PKS (Pammal Kalyana Sambantham) is a Cinema Stunt Actor - a bachelor and a devotee of Hanuman. He stays in Pammal Mansion, owned by him and spends his time and life with his friends, while his beloved Grandpa and other relatives live in his village Pammal.Anand is the friend of P.K.S. Anand kidnaps Malathi on the day of her marriage and Anand marries Malathi in the Police Station in the presence of Malathi's friend and Social worker Dr. Janaki. This is the beginning of a tussle between the Hero P.K.S. and Janaki and the tussle continues in other matters also. In the meanwhile the lovers Anand and Malathi become dejected and the lovers are quarrelling with each other. While Janaki provokes Anand to divorce Malathi, P.K.S. tries to pacify Anand and Malathi and to join them, but in the end, Janaki's plan succeeds and Anand and Malathi become separated. This causes the fight of Janaki and P.K.S. to reach its peak. In the ensuing melee, P.K.S's stomach is wounded by a bull and he is admitted in the hospital. Janaki conducts the operation for P.K.S. and by mistake Janaki's watch falls in the stomach of P.K.S. and Janaki without noticing this, stitches the stomach and the operation is over. That watch is one of peculiar types. Instead of alarm, it sings Slokas. Hearing the sound of Slokas from his stomach, P.K.S. thinks that he has divine powers. Janaki comes to know of her mistake in her operation of P.K.S. She is worried that if this mistake comes to the knowledge of others, her profession as well as her future will be very much affected. So Janaki plans to take back the watch from P.K.S. without his knowledge. For this purpose and as per the advice of Maria Kutty, Nurse and friends of Janaki, Janaki acts as if she loves P.K.S. Pammal thinks Janaki really loves him and he starts to move very close to Janaki. Making use of this closeness, Janaki makes P.K.S. unconscious, performs an operation retrieves the watch from his stomach. Not knowing the truth, P.K.S. loves Janaki so dearly. Janaki, after the successful completion of her plan, moves away from P.K.S. when P.K.S. comes to know the truth, P.K.S. becomes dejected in the failure of his love affair, returns to his native village Pammal. He takes the entire blame on himself for the failure of love, so that no blemish falls on Janaki. When the Grandpa comes to know the truth, Grandpa expires. Janaki comes to attend the funeral to the village and for the first time she realises her mistakes. After that she recollects all the help P.K.S. rendered for the Orphanage conducted by Janaki. Janaki's friends reveal to Janaki how much P.K.S. loved Janaki. Now Janaki gets ready to apologise to P.K.S. and to accept P.K.S's real love for her. At this stage, P.K.S. has to agree to get married to another girl, finding no other alternative to solve the problem of the Will executed by his Grandpa. Janaki arrives to reveal her love to P.K.S. P.K.S. misunderstands Janaki's words and decides to get married to his uncle's daughter. According to the advice of friends, Janaki goes in search of P.K.S. to inform him of her loving him. P.K.S. is getting ready to marry his uncle's daughter. After some confusion, the problems are solved and the marriage of P.K.S. and Janaki takes place. |
